Enrolling your child at Randpark Ridge Montessori (RRM) is a straightforward and personalised process designed to ensure the best fit for the child and their family. Here’s a step-by-step description of the enrolment process:
- Initial Visit and School Tour: We welcome all prospective parents to schedule a visit to our school. During this visit, you can tour our facilities, meet our staff, and get a sense of our unique educational approach.
- Trial Week: If you consider RRM your child’s new educational home and space is available in the required class, we offer an obligation-free and complimentary week-long trial. This trial period allows your child to experience our learning environment, and it also serves as an assessment to ensure they are well-placed within our educational framework. Parents can use this time to assess the logistics of attending RRM and determine if their child fits into the school’s culture.
- Enrolment Documents: To secure your child’s placement at RRM, we require the following documents:
- A signed copy of the Parent Contract.
- Completion of our online enrolment form. The form will include a list of required supporting documents. The most important supporting documents include:
- Parent ID’s or passports.
- Your child’s birth certificate.
- Transfer cards for primary school learners (if applicable).
- Previous school reports (if applicable).
- Holding Deposit: If you plan to enrol your child at RRM at a future date, a holding deposit of R2,000 will be required to secure their space. This deposit will be deducted from the first month’s invoice once your child starts attending the school. There are no other fees payable during the enrolment process.
- Stationery: The only additional cost associated with enrolment is providing stationery for your child. We can provide you with a list of required stationery items, which can also be found under the “Documents” section of our school’s resources. It’s important to note that parents do not need to purchase textbooks or writing books, as the school provides these and remains school property. We ask that parents cover learner books with plastic covers.
